17th Annual GVMC Circle Tour (Closed Club Event)
Mark June 24 – 26, 2022 on your calendar for a great weekend of scenic riding and visiting.
Details: The GVMC Circle Tour will be held on June 24th – 26th, 2022. This is a Closed Club Event open to family and friends. Save this date for a great weekend of fun and socializing while riding your motorcycle.
Sign Up: $20.00 per Bike. Sign up at the Club house See Ron Gaudette to pay for the event.
Overview: This year's Circle Tour Destination is the Coast Hotel in Oliver B.C. for Fri. the 24th of June, Sat. the 25th and Sun. the 26th. There will be a ride on the Sat. All are on their own to get to the Coast Hotel in Oliver on the Friday staying Friday night and Saturday night returning Sunday out of Oliver.
Accommodation:
We will be basing ourselves in Oliver, B.C. at the Coast Hotel. Participants will book their own rooms.

We have 10 rooms blocked off with 2 Queen beds in each room at the cost of $169.00 per night. This includes a hot buffet breakfast. Hotel has an indoor pool..
Everyone needs to book their rooms on or before May 7th, 2022.
Saturday Ride:
Sat. June. 24th. Ride
Take Hwy.97 South to HWY. 3. East (left) up the hill to Rock Creek. Then Turn Left onto HWY. 33 North to Kelowna. In Kelowna Hwy. 33 should dump you out onto Hwy 97. Then you will turn South and head all the way back to Oliver
Total Ride including a lunch stop should take about 4.5 Hours.
Saturday Night Dinner:
Dinner should be at the Fire Hall Bistro in Oliver on Main Street which is a short walk up the hill above the Hotel . I will try for a 6:30 time. User Pay

THE ANNUAL CIRCLE TOUR REMAINS A CLUB MEMBERS AND GUESTS ONLY EVENT.
The Circle Tour this year was to Oliver where we were based out of the Coast Hotel. We all found our own way to Oliver B.C. Some met at the Clubhouse, and some met in small groups as they lived farther out than the Clubhouse. All were on the road by 9:00am – 12 motorcycles and one car in all,
The Friday ride weather was very pleasant except for a very cool section through Manning Park. Some of the group stopped in Manning Park for lunch. Princeton was the next stop for gas and on to our final destination Oliver. Most were at the hotel between 3:00 – 4:00pm to relax and visit until we went in small groups out to dinner,
Our Sat. ride was to Rock Creek and then north on Hwy. 33 to Kelowna then South on Hwy. 97 to Oliver. Some of us stopped in Penticton for the Annual Car Show. All the weather was fantastic in the 30’s. The ladies chose not to ride on Saturday but to explore the town of Oliver and it shops on foot. Saturday evening the whole group met for dinner at Papas Firehall Bistro for a delicious dinner with more evening visiting back at the hotel.
Sunday morning all left early for the ride home which was very pleasant except for the half from Manning Park home which was extremely hot. Everyone had a great time arriving home safely with no incidents.
Hope to see everyone out again next year and hopefully 2023’s Circle Tour will be more fun and adventure. Ron Gaudette – Circle Tour Organizer
